One day, I’ll wake up in a place where I’ll feel loved & safe.
I won’t care if I only have a sofa to live in because there’ll be a roof over my head & no one else there to make me feel like less than a person. I’ll be able to finally be myself & laugh & cry without feeling judged or yelled at.
I love being overly perky friendly cheery when saying goodbye to customers who were really rude to me. I’m still being nice even though you’ve been a straight up bitch, I bet you feel you feel shit about yourself now huh asshat
I work in a call center and my hands down absolute proudest moment ever was when a customer told me “Fuck you” as he was ending the call and I pretended I had totally misheard him and thought he was saying “Thank you” and I chirped in my brightest customer service voice “You too! Have a good day!”.
Our calls get randomly pulled and marked for training and quality purposes and my boss who marked that call totally believed that I had misheard that guy. When she left we were having drinks and told a funny story about how I had once misinterpreted a “Fuck you” as a “Thank you” and responded with cheery friendly “You too!”. I took great pleasure in looking her in the eye and telling her I knew exactly what he had said and that I told him to get fucked without actually telling him to get fucked.
